I received a lot of gifts for my wedding, mainly things for around the house but my kscope family knew the way to my heart was through my stomach. Here’s a mini review and appreciate post for the Kscope food directory and Nativ Foods small chop platter.
If you’re looking for all things african food, fashion, and resources, The Kscope is your go to place. They recently launched their food directory that allows you to place food orders from select african vendors for pick up or delivery option in Toronto and surrounding areas. They recently gifted me as a wedding gift a coupon for a free meal from any of the vendors on the site so I was super excited to give it a try. The website is quite easy to navigate. You can search for a specific meal that you want, cuisine etc. Most vendors offer pre-order meals for next day or 48 hours turn around time. A new feature added which I like is you can pick your pick-up/delivery time.
I was looking for a small chop platter and Nativ Foods option caught my attention. For those who don’t know, small chops are what Nigerians consider finger foods. The platter I ordered consisted of Samosa (8pcs), Spring roll (8pcs), Puff Puff (20pcs), and BBQ Chicken (8pcs). This was the small platter for $80. I also added 3pcs of snail for extra $20. I picked the “pick up” option as the location was not too far off.
The platter made my weekend. It was so good. My husband and I truly enjoyed it. My favourite would have to be the puff puff just puff puff has a special place in my heart.
Thank you the kscope for the gift and Nativ Foods for the delicious meal. Read more about the kscope with my last post on their community picnic here. Feel free to follow me @foodiie.diary on Instagram for more food adventures!
