It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on the blog, about a month. Well if you follow me on Instagram you would already know but SURPRISE! I got married! The last month has been all about wedding planning and trying to put something together while navigating the ever changing COVID restrictions in Ontario. I’ve decided to do a little wedding series covering some of the goodies we had, starting with the bridal shower sweets.
On Saturday March 27th, my friends and family put together and hosted a beautiful bridal shower. Everything was a secret for me and I only knew of the location, date, and guestlist. So this is just an appreciate post of all the goodies at the bridal shower.
Majority of the food were either finger foods or sweets. There was a maIN table, as well as a side station for a bubble and parfait bar.
The finger foods were bought at local grocery stores. There were samosas, wraps, finger sandwiches, and rolls. Some of the sweets as well were store bought such as the tarts and cannoli.
The star of the show was of course the cake by Jackie Cupcake Cake Queen. The cake was the perfect size and fit amazingly with the color theme. The flavour of the cake was subtle and not too sweet which I love.
A tower of cupcakes also took some of the spotlight by Savoury Blooms.
Lastly, the last food vendor, were chocolate covered strawberries by Annie Berries.
I have to also highlight the bubbly parfait bar my friend put together with custom mocktails in a jar.
With everything going on in the world, this event was very refreshing and I appreciate my friends and family for putting this together. I hope you enjoyed this bridal shower sweets highlight post. Stay tuned for more wedding series highlight.
