Welcome to 2021! New year new me… kind of, let me explain.
2020 was a rollercoaster of a year lets start with that. Yes the new year is really just one day over from the previous year but I’ve always felt that it comes with such a positive “I can do anything” energy. If you follow me on Instagram (which you should be) I’ve been EATING. The holiday season has blessed me with so much good food and now it’s time to get back on track. That is why I’ve decided to start “New year new me… Kind of” where every Monday I will be sharing a bit of my healthy eating and lifestyle update.
Every year in January I always do a “re-set” from the holidays. This year is the first time where I am sharing it with others.
What to Expect
Basically once a week I will be sharing my week review on my healthy lifestyle journey thus far, this may include a recipe, food reviews, all on the healthier side. My goal is to cut out meat and dairy except for fish, egg and possibly some cheese. I love working out but with all the closures I got tired of home workouts so I will be picking that up again as well. All of this is to get back on track in living a balanced lifestyle as well as prep for something big (it’s a secret unless you know be personally) that is coming up later in the year. As a food blogger it’s so important for me to re-set once in a while to stay balanced and healthy. When will this series end? After the big surprise.
No Man Left Out
For those interested in regular food reviews and recipes, don’t worry I got you! The first post of the week will be dedicated to new year new me… kind of, but other days will be my typical content. I plan to have one cheat day a week which would probably be content for the blog. I also cook for my family a lot so recipes will definitely still be pumping from there.
I’m super excited for this as this is a way to hold myself accountable. Feel free to join me on this journey as well. I am not following any strict online plan, just going off of what works for me and my lifestyle.
