‘Tis the season to Donate to your local Food Bank

non perishable food items food bank

It’s the holiday season and soon it will be Christmas. Though Christmas may look a little different this year with reduced gatherings, it is still a time with hopefully a lot of joy, love, and of course feasting. For some this is an exciting time but for others for one reason or another, it’s not a time of year they look forward too. Many people rely on a food bank to supply their dinner table. We can all agree that 2020 has been quite a unique year, this year more than ever people are relying on a food bank or multiple.

Community food drive Toronto

All you need are non perishable food items as they are easy to store and convenient. There are different organizations such as your local restaurant that are organizing a food drive to donate to a local food bank for families and individuals in need. I recently stopped by BarBURRITO to make donation to their food drive. Below is a list of just some food banks you can donate too. There are so many more, if you know any others please share below and lets all enjoy this holiday season.
